Summary

We are seeking a passionate Winery Retail Market Sales Person to join our team at Hounds of Erie Winery in London, Ontario. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer experiences and promoting our handcrafted beverages to visitors and local customers alike at the London farmers' market.

In addition to working the farmer's market, 1 shift per week is required at the winery location in Clear Creek, ON.

Responsibilities

' Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.

- Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to educate customers about our wines and ciders.
- Manage retail transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Set up and maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight our products.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Support winery events and promotional activities as needed

Qualifications





Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a winery or hospitality setting.

- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic math for transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Passion for wine, cider, or local food products is desirable.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects such as cases of wine, tents, tables, etc.
- Must have own vehicle with valid g or g2 license.
- Must be willing to work every Saturday and Sunday for market hours 7am until 1pm.
- 1 extra shift per week is required at the winery in clear creek, on

Additional Information:

- Must be at least 18 years old and be capable of getting your Smartserve certificate
- Must be able to lift cases of wine
- Must have own vehicle to drive product and market materials to event location
- Ideally be able to store market materials in your home

Pay: $18.20 per hour
