Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Square for order entry and billing
- Manage cash handling accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Assist in food preparation or service as needed, including light food handling and sanitation practices




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Square is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and responsible alcohol service
- Experience with food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Hospitality or guest services background is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
