Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the automotive field. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
- Assist with heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.





Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to vehicle systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
