We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead Hand / Team Lead to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with warehouse and forklift experience who enjoys coaching teams, improving processes, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- Day Shift - 8 am to 4.30 pm

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day support to the Distribution Supervisor.
- Supervise warehouse associates to ensure accurate shipping and receiving operations.
- Investigate shipping and receiving issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy.
- Train and mentor current and existing warehouse employees.
- Conduct current hire forklift evaluations to ensure safe equipment operation.
- Assist with employee performance evaluations and provide recommendations on hiring and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and company procedures.
- Perform regular inspections of warehouse equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.




- Operate a forklift and provide hands-on support during busy periods.
- Provide backup support to the Distribution Supervisor when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and workflow.
- Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead Hand, Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Valid forklift licence with practical operating experience.
- Experience training and mentoring warehouse employees.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse workplace.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (an asset).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
