We Are Hiring: Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA)

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) to join our Infant & Toddler (IT) program.

Position Details

- Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
- Work Schedule: Full time or Part-Time
- Work Language: English
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience or equivalent experience
- Work Setting: Child Care Centre

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Lead engaging activities such as storytelling, singing songs, arts and crafts, and outdoor experiences
- Provide opportunities for children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- Guide and support children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits
- Observe and assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs,



and communicate progress or concerns with parents and team members
- Establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
- Plan and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that supports the well-being of all children

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) Certificate (required in British Columbia)
- Criminal Record Check
- Up-to-date Immunization Records
