Wire Construction is seeking motivated Construction Labourers to join our growing team. This role supports a variety of commercial and residential earthworks, underground utility, and site development projects throughout the Calgary region.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily earthworks, excavation, and underground utility operations
- Perform shovelling, raking, grading, and site preparation
- Operate plate tampers, jumping jacks, and other small construction equipment
- Assist with string lining, site layout, grade checking, and surveying activities
- Support excavation crews with trenching, backfilling, and pipe installation
- Perform dewatering and water management as required
- Grease and assist with the daily maintenance of heavy equipment
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Direct traffic and perform flagging duties when required
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure work areas
- Work alongside operators, foremen, and site supervisors to keep projects running efficiently
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and daily hazard assessments
- Perform other general labour duties as required to support project success

Qualifications & Experience





- Previous construction or labour experience is considered an asset but is not required
- Experience in civil construction, earthworks, underground utilities, or landscaping is an asset
- Physically capable of performing manual labour in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset
