Salon22Welland is looking for a talented, licensed hairstylist to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments with precision and artistry
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, offering professional recommendations tailored to their preferences and hair type
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and boost sales
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening actively, and addressing client questions or concerns
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products through ongoing education and training

Requirements





- Valid Ontario cosmetology or hairstylist license required; must be licensed to perform professional hair services
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work showcasing versatility and creativity
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired outcomes
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and qualified demeanor
- Prior experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
