Shifts: Afternoon 3:30 PM–1:30 AM | Night 9:45 PM–6:45 AM

About the Role

We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Helper for a busy quarry and heavy industrial operation. This is a hands-on role for a mechanically inclined candidate with experience in mechanical maintenance, industrial machinery and equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

- Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Work on conveyors, gearboxes, screens and other industrial machinery
- Use hand and power tools for repairs and fitting
- Assist with basic MIG, TIG or Arc welding
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers and forklifts after training




- Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Follow strict safety and PPE procedures
- Work outdoors year-round, including extreme heat, cold and dusty conditions
- Work at heights and in confined spaces

Requirements

- 3–5 years of heavy industrial, quarry, mining, cement or similar experience
- Hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and power tool experience
- Experience with industrial machinery preferred
- Heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Basic welding/fitting experience is an asset
- Working at Heights and Confined Space certification preferred
- Must pass respirator fit testing and be clean-shaven where the respirator seals
- Able to work afternoon/night shifts and overtime
