Position Overview:

RCB College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Medical Office Assistant Instructor to join our MOA faculty. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lectures, mentor students, and ensure our learners gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to excel in medical office environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and practical lessons following the approved Medical Office Assistant curriculum.
- Facilitate engaging discussions and interactive learning experiences.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and exams.
- Maintain accurate attendance and grade records using D2L Brightspace and the Student Information System.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to help students achieve success.




- Collaborate with academic leadership to enhance course delivery and curriculum development.
- Stay current with healthcare office practices, technology, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in Medical Office Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Previous teaching or training experience is preferred (college-level instruction an asset).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with D2L Brightspace or similar LMS platforms.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical office or healthcare industry: 2 years (preferred)
