Locations across British Columbia may include: Burnaby, White Rock, Langley, Sechelt, Penticton, Princeton, Keremeos, Kelowna, Invermere, Nakusp, 100 Mile House, Trail, Vernon, Kamloops, Hazelton, Fort Nelson, Prince Rupert, Prince George, Salmon Arm, Williams Lake, McBride and more

Type: Travel contract

Hours: 12 hour shifts, rotating days and nights

Unit: Emergency, Acute Medical, Surgical, Operating Room, PACU, L&D;, Maternity

Pay: $52 - 67/hour, T4 and Incorp options available

Responsibilities:

As an Emergency Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent medical conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will:

- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
- Deliver secure, evidence-based emergency nursing care
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions
- Assist with trauma, cardiac, respiratory, pediatric, and medical emergencies
- Operate and monitor emergency equipment




- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient care

Qualifications:

- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
- CTAS certification preferred
- TNCC Certification preferred
- ENPC Certification preferred
