Shift Time: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM

We are a mid-sized company located in Edmonton focusing on engineering, design product development and manufacturing. We design, engineer, and manufacture high-performance connection solutions for projects across North America. We are seeking a full time CNC Plasma/ Press Brake Operator to join our busy shop. The successful candidate will be proficient in CNC controls and plasma cutting operations. Attention to detail and good communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

- Fulfill work orders.
- Work with other CNC Operator and Production Supervisor to manage priority level of work orders.
- Read technical drawings and set up the machines as per those detail drawings.
- Ensure all dimensions are accurate and perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Enter CNC Files onto the nesting software to prepare for cutting, quantities of material needed and output to the cutting table.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
- Track and record production.
- Operate forklift when needed.
- Track and record inventory and offcuts.




- Staging material in priority sequence for work orders in the ques to minimize machine downtime.
- Help select and transport material to work area manually or using a crane or forklift.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining production equipment for operation.
- Cutting and removal of scrap material.
- General labour duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.

· Must have solid attention to detail.

· Familiar with interpreting technical drawings.

· Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise.

· Should have a positive attitude and ability to work with others.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Experience:

- Plasma/ Press Brake Operator: 1 year (required)
- Manufacturing facility: 1 year (required)
