Company description

We have a 62,000 acre cattle ranch in Aden Alberta with about 850 cows. We feed the calves through the winter and sell them as yearlings in the fall. Most of the cattle work is done on horseback so applicants must be an experienced rider. Trade skills are an asset but not required. You must have your own tack. We have horses to ride but you may bring your own as well.

We provide all housing and utilities. We have blue cross, WCB, and in the fall when we have beef butchered we give you half a beef.

Job description

We keep 2 full time employees on staff and most days you will be working with the other employee. Your primary role will be moving cattle on horseback. Other jobs include fencing, feeding/treating calves, haying in the summer, and maintenance.

Pay: From $3,500.00 per month
