Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to assist with core financial operations of the company.
Role Overview
In this role, your primary focus will be managing complex, multi-account bank reconciliations and general ledger entries, alongside supporting annual financial budgeting and forecasting. You will also oversee daily transactional activity including full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR), tenant ledgers, and Accounts Payable (AP) using Yardi Vyoger.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations across operational, trust/security deposit, and reserve fund accounts.
- Prepare, post, and adjust monthly General Ledger (GL) journal entries. Assist management with annual financial budgeting, variance tracking, and year-end audit schedules.
- Process monthly rent collections, PADs, and EFTs in Yardi. Monitor tenant delinquency, track balances, and issue demand notices as needed.
- Manage lease financial setups, process move-in/move-out ledger adjustments, chargebacks, and security deposit disbursements.
- Match, code, and enter vendor invoices and utility bills. Prepare bi-weekly cheque runs and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs).
- Serve as a primary contact for vendor invoice queries and tenant account ledger inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of Canadian accounting experience, ideal in property management industry.
- Proficiency with Yardi Voyager software.
- Deep proficiency in multi-account bank reconciliations, GL journal entry preparation, and financial budgeting basics.
- Working knowledge of Canadian provincial tenancy acts and GST/HST/PST tax compliance.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data formatting).
- High attention to detail, numerical precision, and professional written/verbal communication skills.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
