Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our security guards agency team, bringing a proactive and organized approach to managing staffing schedules. In this role, you will coordinate security personnel shifts efficiently, ensuring optimal coverage across multiple sites. Your expertise in workforce planning, human resources management systems, and project coordination will be vital in maintaining seamless operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate security guard schedules using advanced scheduling tools such as Workday, Dayforce, or UltiPro.
- Coordinate shift assignments based on client needs, staffing levels, and employee availability, ensuring full coverage at all times.
- Manage change requests and adjust schedules promptly in response to operational changes or unforeseen circumstances through effective change management practices.
- Collaborate with human resources teams to facilitate onboarding, training & development sessions, and employee relations initiatives related to scheduling.
- Utilize HRIS platforms like Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft to track attendance, leave requests, and payroll data for security staff.
- Communicate clearly with security personnel and clients regarding schedule updates, shift changes,
and policy adherence using strong communication skills.
- Maintain detailed records of scheduling activities, data collection efforts, and shift logs to support payroll processing and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in scheduling within a security guards agency or similar workplace with a focus on staffing coordination.
- Familiarity with workforce management systems such as Workday, Dayforce, Kronos, or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Knowledge of human resources management processes including recruiting, employee relations, and training & development.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms like Salesforce, ADP, Ceridian, or iCIMS for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Administrative experience involving data collection, record keeping, and shift documentation.
