Overview
We're looking for a skilled and dependable Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you'll fabricate, fit, and assemble pressure and non-pressure components, piping systems, and industrial equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.

Working in a fast-paced industrial environment, you'll use technical drawings, fabrication equipment, and your attention to detail to support both manufacturing and emergency service operations. Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble boiler tubes, piping, structural steel, and related components.
- Fabricate custom parts, assemblies, and structures according to drawings and required tolerances.
- Prepare materials and components for welding, repair, and final assembly.
- Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Safely handle and move materials using proper lifting, rigging, and material-handling practices.
- Complete required production, quality, and job-related documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support shop and field projects while working collaboratively with welders, machinists, apprentices, and other trades personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

- Experience in metal fabrication,



boiler repair, pipe fitting, structural steel fabrication, or a related industrial trade.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of industrial fabrication methods, materials, piping systems, structural steel, and pressure components.
- Experience operating fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Journeyperson certification or formal training in fabrication, welding, pipe fitting, or a related trade is considered an asset.
- Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, rigging, or related certifications is considered an asset.
- Welding experience, tack welding experience, or welding qualifications are considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is considered an asset

Pay: $31.00-$46.00 per hour
