Responsibilities

- Cook and prepare various types of pasta according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate packaging equipment to ensure pasta is properly sealed and labeled for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cooking and packaging areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
- Follow safety protocols when handling kitchen tools, machinery, and chemicals in the food processing environment
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and reporting shortages




- Support the team in adhering to manufacturing schedules to meet production targets efficiently

Skills

- Experience with packaging processes in a food industry setting is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices essential for food processing facilities
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, portioning, and inventory tracking
