On-Camera UGC & Event Content Creator

RoboBooth.ca is looking for a creative, confident and reliable content creator to record raw short-form video content for social media advertisements and attend selected events throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

This position combines two types of content creation:

- Attending weddings, corporate events, trade shows and private celebrations to capture RoboBooth activations in action.
- Recording scripted talking-head and UGC-style videos independently from home or another suitable filming location.

No editing is required. RoboBooth.ca will provide scripts, creative direction and event shot lists. Your responsibility is to record solid raw footage and upload it to our team.

Compensation

- $25 per hour• Hours will vary based on event bookings and content requirements• All recording assignments and estimated hours will be approved in advance• No video editing is required

Event Content Responsibilities

- Attend selected RoboBooth events throughout the GTA and surrounding areas• Record high-quality vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and paid advertisements• Follow an event-specific filming checklist and creative brief• Capture guests noticing, approaching and interacting with our activations• Record genuine reactions, excitement, laughter and guest engagement• Capture complete interaction sequences from beginning to end• Record wide shots of the venue and activation area• Capture close-up footage of screens, prints, branded details and customized equipment• Film corporate logos, sponsor branding and event décor when applicable• Capture short guest or client testimonials when requested• Professionally represent RoboBooth.ca around clients and event guests

Talking-Head and UGC Responsibilities





- Record scripted talking-head videos independently• Deliver scripts naturally and confidently on camera• Record multiple hooks, angles and variations when requested• Follow instructions regarding framing, clothing, background, lighting and delivery• Record in a quiet environment with clear audio and appropriate lighting• Provide multiple takes so our editing team has sufficient footage• Upload organized, unedited footage promptly• Be comfortable having your image and voice used in organic social media content and paid advertising

Key: This is a recording position. You will not be responsible for editing videos, adding captions, selecting music or publishing content.

Requirements

- Comfortable and natural speaking on camera• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and UGC-style content• Able to follow scripts while sounding conversational rather than rehearsed• Good visual instincts for lighting, framing and camera placement• Owns a recent smartphone capable of recording high-quality vertical video• Reliable internet access for uploading large video files• Available for evening and weekend events• Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle• Able to travel throughout the GTA and surrounding areas• Reliable, punctual and responsive• Able to follow detailed creative instructions• Comfortable working independently and meeting content deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous UGC, social media, acting,



modelling, hosting or content-creation experience• Experience filming at weddings, corporate events, trade shows or brand activations• Portfolio containing short-form videos or talking-head content• Comfortable approaching guests for reactions or short testimonials

You do not need a large social media following. Content will be published through RoboBooth.ca’s platforms, so we care more about your on-camera presence, creativity and reliability.

Our content is used to showcase real guest reactions, demonstrate our activations and create short-form advertisements for weddings, corporate events and brand activations.
