Sr. Business Analyst:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Business Analyst for a short-term role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Sr. Business Analyst - Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the enterprise migration to Jira. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to assess current processes, document requirements, facilitate migration planning, and support successful adoption of Jira across the organization.

Sr. Business Analyst - Responsibilities:

- Conduct interviews and workshops with technology and business teams to understand current processes, project delivery practices, workflows, and reporting requirements.
- Document current-state and future-state processes.
- Analyze existing Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and project management practices.
- Support migration activities from existing platforms into Jira.
- Engage directly with teams to understand operational needs and migration impacts.
- Facilitate workshops to drive alignment on standards, taxonomy, workflows, and governance.
- Recommend improvements to project delivery processes and Jira configuration standards.

Sr. Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:





- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience on large technology transformation programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading platform, tool, or enterprise application migration initiatives.
- Robust business process analysis and process mapping skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams.
- Strong documentation skills including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and user stories.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Sr. Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Direct Jira implementation or migration experience.
- Experience with Azure DevOps to Jira migrations.
- Experience configuring or administering Jira projects, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Atlassian ecosystem tools such as Jira Software, Jira Plans, Confluence, and Xray.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or equivalent certification.

Sr. Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a short-term contract position from 2026-08-24 to 2026-12-31.
