We are a leader in our industry and we are seeking an Operations Controller to join our dynamic and experienced team.

Travel Requirement:

Travel to 2 plants: 1 in Quebec, 1 in Ohio

Valid passport.

2 plants are in the GTA.

Required to work at the plants.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct process walkthroughs and job shadowing to fully understand plant operations

· Identify gaps, risks, and control weaknesses in production workflows, inventory handling, and cost management

· Recommend and support implementation of corrective actions, procedures, and policies

· Lead independent internal control testing across business units

· Analyze large sets of financial and operational data using audit software and reporting tools

· Compare practices across plants and recommend best practices in:

· Cost accounting

· Inventory control

· Production efficiency





· Collaborate cross-functionally with plant and department managers to communicate findings and implement solutions

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required)

· CPA designation or in the final stages of certification

· Strong knowledge of internal controls, operational auditing, and cost management

· Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

· Comfortable working independently on the plant floor and engaging with frontline staff

· Proficient in financial systems, audit tools, and data analytics software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
