Job Summary
We are seeking a agile and highly skilled Medical Director to lead our medical aesthetics team, bringing expertise as either a Physician or Nurse Practitioner. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and drive innovative aesthetic treatments. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to enhancing clients’ confidence through safe, effective, and personalized aesthetic procedures. Duties
- Provide expert medical oversight for all aesthetic procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement treatment protocols, clinical guidelines, and quality assurance measures to optimize patient outcomes.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor clinical staff including nurses, aestheticians, and support personnel to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Conduct patient consultations to assess needs, explain treatment options, and deliver personalized care plans with clear communication.
- Oversee patient care documentation using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms.
- Manage clinical operations including scheduling, inventory management of medical supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with administrative teams on process improvements, staff training programs,
and compliance initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, aesthetic procedures, and current industry trends in medical aesthetics.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting with strong supervisory and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus for diverse client interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting, presentations, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in patient care, case management, and customer service within a medical or aesthetic environment.
- Experience with research initiatives or process improvement projects to advance clinical practices.
- Familiarity with hospital or nursing home environments; assisted living or senior care experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards relevant to medical aesthetics practices.
