Job Summary
Passionate Horticulturist wanted to help maintain and enhance the gardens and landscapes of our flagship properties throughout the Niagara area. This hands-on role combines expert plant care, landscape maintenance, client interaction, and daily tracking of work progress and site metrics. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys building positive relationships with customers while delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

- Manage garden/tree/shrub/turf maintenance
- Efficiently plan and execute horticultural tasks, including planting, treatment, pruning,



and care
- Handle and transport nursery stock, manage soil and sod tasks and fertilize
- Assist in turf maintenance if required, track job metrics, and ensure safety compliance
- Adhere to all company and local regulations
- Engage courteously with customers and staff at facility

Qualifications

- Completed college or vocational training with Horticulturist or Landscape Gardener Certification
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Clean & valid G class license
- Proficient in plant identification, especially trees and shrubs
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Physically fit with stamina; must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Skilled in measurement, safety, detail-oriented tasks, problem-solving, and communication
- Requires working near heavy machinery, outdoors in varying conditions, and flexible schedule, including weekends
