Reggin Technical Services is seeking a 4th or 5th Class Power Engineer/Building Operator to join our team. As one of Calgary’s leading mechanical service providers, we have a large staff spread across the Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, and Electrical trades, but are seeking to add a Power Engineer to that team to better serve our clients.

The Power Engineer/Building Operator would be responsible for performing hands-on inspections, as well as predictive and corrective maintenance within our customers building portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess robust mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience in various repair and maintenance tasks, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

- Routine maintenance duties; working with HVAC Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing.
- Ensuring all building equipment is in good running order and relevant certifications are up to date.

· Regular water testing and treatment of all open and closed loops and the addition of chemicals based on the results of those tests.

- Maintain all service tools and equipment in good working condition and arrange for repair or replacement as required.




- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and resolve mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.

Experience

- Proven experience in a similar role.

· Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.

- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Basic computer skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Current Alberta 4th/5th Class Power Engineers License.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$32.50 per hour

Education:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
