The London Club, one of Canada’s oldest and most distinguished private clubs, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our leadership team. Position Overview

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Club’s dining services and ensuring members and guests consistently receive a warm, professional, and personalized experience.

This position provides hands-on leadership to the restaurant service team, oversees the flow of each shift, and works closely with the culinary and management teams to maintain exceptional service standards. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will lead by example, respond effectively to member needs, and help create a positive, organized, and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and support restaurant service staff during daily lunch, dinner, and Club dining operations.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate reservations, member preferences, menu features, special requests, and service expectations.
- Oversee the opening, operation, and closing of the restaurant to ensure all duties are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor the dining room throughout service and assist the team in maintaining a smooth and professional member experience.
- Welcome members and guests, respond to questions or concerns, and resolve service issues in a timely and respectful manner.
- Coordinate closely with the culinary team to ensure accurate, efficient, and well-timed food and beverage service.
- Train, coach, and mentor service team members to promote consistency, professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Ensure all dining areas are properly set, clean, organized, and presented in accordance with Club standards.




- Maintain knowledge of menus, daily features, wine and beverage offerings, Club events, and member preferences.
- Assist with staff scheduling, timekeeping, payroll information, and coverage requirements as assigned.
- Monitor inventory levels for restaurant supplies, service equipment, beverages, and operating materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, responsible alcohol service standards, and all Club policies and procedures.
- Support private dining, member events, and banquet operations when required.
- Communicate operational concerns, member feedback, staffing matters, and service opportunities to management.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the successful operation of the Club.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in restaurant service ideally in a private club, hotel, or fine dining environment.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

- Secondary School (required)

Experience:

- Food and Beverage: 2 years (preferred)
