Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain sloped roofs on residential and commercial buildings using various roofing materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and utility knives efficiently and safely during roofing tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials like shingles, plywood, and other roofing components to facilitate installation.
- Apply caulking and sealants precisely to ensure watertight and durable roof joints.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks, maintain safety protocols, and meet project deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:





- Minimum 5 years of residential and/or commercial roofing experience.
- Experience installing CertainTeed, IKO, and Malarkey roofing systems.
- Experience with designer and specialty shingles, cedar roofing, and related products.
- All crew members must have current Working at Heights training.
- Valid WorkSafeBC coverage and Commercial General Liability insurance.
- Reliable transportation (work van or truck preferred, without company decals).
- Own tools and safety equipment preferred.
- Solid knowledge of roofing best practices, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards.
