Position Details

Parking Enforcement Officers are responsible for enforcing campus parking regulations by issuing parking citations for violations, including parking without a valid permit, expired pay-and-park sessions, parking in restricted areas, and the improper display or use of invalid permits. Officers help maintain a secure and orderly campus by routinely monitoring designated parking areas and ensuring compliance with parking policies. They also provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions,



and educating the campus community about parking regulations.

Campus Mobility Services is hiring three casual Parking Enforcement Officers for the period of September 2, 2026, to April 30, 2027. The available shifts are Monday to Friday, with one position from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and two positions from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Students encouraged to apply.

Salary:
$22.50 per hour

Position Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in public safety or related fields is a plus, Lethbridge Traffic By-law is a plus.
- Previous experience in parking enforcement, security, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.
- The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
