T.A.E Mechanical Heavy Equipment Repair is a growing Heavy Equipment repair company based in Fort McMurray, AB supporting major Mining and Construction operations throughout the Oil Sands region.

Our Technicians operate new fully equipped service trucks to perform Diagnostics, Maintenance and Repairs directly on site for a variety of Heavy Mining Equipment including but not limited to

- -Excavators
- -Dozers
- -Haul Trucks
- -Support and Auxiliary Mining equipment

We are looking for experienced, safety focused Heavy Equipment Technicians who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working in a Field Service environment.

WHAT WE OFFER

- $56 - $70/per hour depending on experience / Employee or Contractor rate
- 8hrs Tax Free LOA paid per rotation for travel ( $440.00 = $5280.00 per year)
- Consistent 14/14 or 14/7 Rotation
- Camp supplied / Flights depending on site location
- Fully Equipped Service truck ( crane, compressor, tooling, Laptop)

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy Mining equipment such as Excavators, Dozers, Haul trucks and all support equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct assembly, and disassembly of components as needed
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete repairs and maintenance tasks




- Work Independently in the Field as well a part of team on larger projects where required
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repair histories
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing technical issues promptly and efficiently
- Daily Maintenance / Upkeep of Service Truck and toolingExperience
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Certification Required
- Min 3-5 years experience with service or repair of Mining / Heavy Equipment
- Hands-on experience with Hydraulic, Electrical systems, Powertrain schematics reading, and power tools usage
- CAT SIS / E.T Software / John Deere S/A
- Robust Diagnostic skills considered an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer service abilities
- Must have clean 5 yr Drivers Abstract ( Class 5 Min)
- Safety Tickets H2S, First Aid, CSO
- Ability to meet Site Access requirements for Oil Sands operations
- ***310T CERTIFICATES REQUIRE 3-5 YEARS ON MINING EQUIPMENT ***This position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced technicians to apply their skills in a dynamic environment focused on safety, efficiency, and quality service.
