We are currently hiring a Double Deep Reach Truck MHE Operator for our client, a fast-paced food manufacturing, importing, and distribution facility located in Burnaby, BC. We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and hardworking individual with strong warehouse experience and proven skills.

This facility handles raw nuts, dried fruits, seeds, and nut butters, operating in a strict allergen-sensitive environment. Candidates must be able to follow all allergen control procedures, GMP requirements, and food safety protocols at all times.

- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate Double Deep Reach Truck forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory
- Load and unload delivery trucks, containers, and imported shipments
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against BOLs and pick tickets
- Handle, store, and organize imported food products including raw nuts, dried fruits, seeds, and nut butters while following strict allergen control procedures
- Follow allergen management protocols to prevent cross-contamination
- Pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders accurately
- Build stable pallets and securely wrap products for shipment
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities
- Maintain accurate product locations within the warehouse system
- Ensure all products are stored according to SOPs, GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and surrounding areas
- Conduct routine forklift inspections and report any equipment concerns
- Support general warehouse operations as required
- Perform physical labour, including lifting and moving products up to 55 lbs
- Ensure safe handling of products to prevent damage, contamination, or loss




- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid forklift certification (Double Deep Reach Truck experience required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Double Deep Reach Truck forklifts
- Experience in food manufacturing, importing, or distribution environments is an asset
- Ability to work in a strict allergen-controlled environment
- Flexibility to work afternoon and evening shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and food-safe handling procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
