Gilmore Printing Services is looking for a well organized and dynamic person to coordinate the activities in our shipping department. As a Shipping Clerk, you will handle administrative tasks in the morning and transition to the production floor in the afternoon to assist in getting orders ready to be shipped to our clients. We are looking for someone that thrives in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting and can work equally well independently or with other team members.

Job Summary

Morning Duties: Office & Logistics

- Process and print shipping labels using company software.
- Update daily shipping logs in the computer.
- Sending emails for pick ups for delivery.
- Check inventory and order new shipping boxes when supplies get low
- Move shipments to required location internally for deliveries

Afternoon Duties: Production & Packing

- Move finished goods internally through divisions.
- Pack boxes safely so items do not get damaged during transit.
- Help the production team to produce and assemble customer job requests
- Keep the workspace clean and secure.





Qualifications & Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both handling goods and completing paperwork.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kilograms).
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and a commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills (typing and using email).
