Our client is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead their supply chain operations to support business performance, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth. This role provides leadership across key supply chain functions and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance.

Scope of Position:

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Lead planning processes to balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory, and supply.
- Manage purchasing, planning, inventory, logistics, and related supply chain functions.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
- Oversee inventory planning and material flow to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
- Support product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance through effective supply chain management.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement initiatives to improve service, cost, inventory, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and new product introductions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company standards, and continuous improvement practices while proactively managing supply chain risks.





As the ideal candidate, you will possess:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive supply chain experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least 3 years' leadership experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, supplier management, and demand planning.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and using data to support operational decision-making.
- Strong business, financial, analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently to achieve operational goals.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, improve processes, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with international sourcing, trade compliance, or global logistics is considered an asset.
- Skilled certification such as SCMP, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), Lean, or Six Sigma will be considered an asset.
- Please note: We are located just outside of Winnipeg, so a vehicle is required for commute.
