Professional Walk-In Cooler & Freezer InstallerOverview

Holzbau Contracting is seeking an experienced Walk-In Cooler & Freezer Installer to join our team for a commercial installation project at Costco in Lloydminster. We are looking for a skilled, dependable professional with a robust background in commercial refrigeration enclosure installation who takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient job site.

Responsibilities

- Assemble and install commercial walk-in coolers and freezers according to manufacturer specifications and project drawings.
- Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and shop plans.
- Install insulated wall and ceiling panels, doors, hardware, and accessories with precision.
- Ensure installations are level, plumb, square, and properly sealed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all site safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications





- Minimum 5 years of experience of similar work
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Robust understanding of commercial construction practices and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
- Must have appropriate PPE for a commercial construction site.

Schedule

- 10-hour shifts
- 6 days per week
- Overtime may be available based on project requirements.

Costco – Lloydminster, AB/SK
