We are looking for a polished, friendly, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our luxury chocolate boutique in Granville Island Market.

This is a long-term part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in presentation, and can create an elevated shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, comfortable engaging with customers, and confident recommending premium products in a retail setting.

What you’ll do

- Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism
- Provide product knowledge, recommendations, and suggestive selling
- Offer samples and confidently speak about our products
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Create beautiful gift boxes and assist customers with gift selections
- Restock products and maintain attractive, well-merchandised displays
- Help keep the store clean, organized, and well presented at all times
- Assist with opening and closing duties

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 2 years of sales experience




- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A polished, professional, and dependable attitude
- Comfortable speaking with customers and making product recommendations
- Robust attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Flexibility to work changing hours during busy periods and the tourist season
- An interest in premium food, gifting, or luxury retail is an asset

Schedule

- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Typical shifts are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Typically Monday to Thursday, with possible Friday shifts
- Some flexibility is needed during busy seasons and the tourist season
