Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 1A or Class 3 Truck Driver with a valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate to haul freight between Saskatoon and our Mine Site at Key Lake, Saskatchewan.

This position is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend pickups as required. Drivers will stay overnight in the mine camp when delivering materials.

Responsibilities

- Transport freight safely between Saskatoon and the Key Lake mine site.
- Pick up materials from various vendors throughout Saskatoon.
- Manage (BOLs) and complete all required shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Assist with loading, securing, organizing, and unloading freight.
- Ensure all cargo is transported safely and in compliance with company policies and TDG regulations.

Freight includes:
- Palletized materials from the client warehouse (warehouse staff load the truck; driver may need to reorganize freight for proper loading).
- Parts, parcels, pipe, pallets, and other materials from Saskatoon vendors.
- Additional supplies and equipment required at the mine site.

Equipment

Current vehicle

- Ford E450 with a 16-foot box.

Please note:

- No hydraulic tailgate/lift gate.
- Position requires lifting, moving boxes,



and assisting with loading and unloading.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday.
- Occasional weekend pickups may be required.
- Delivery days can be up to 14 hours, so flexibility is essential.
- Overnight accommodation is provided at the mine camp during deliveries.

Requirements

- Valid Class 1A or Class 3 Driver's Licence.
- Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
- WHMIS certification.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Successful Drug & Alcohol (D&A;) testing.
- Ability to complete required mine site orientation.
- Physically capable of handling freight and assisting with loading/unloading.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience driving the Saskatoon – Key Lake route is strongly preferred.
- Experience operating on long stretches of gravel roads in varying weather and road conditions.
- Robust attention to safety, paperwork accuracy, and time management.
