Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bus & Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair experience on diesel engines, heavy trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex mechanical issues and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks, buses, and diesel-powered vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet applicable regulations.
- Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate repair records and work orders.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Mentor and assist apprentice and junior mechanics when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications





- Minimum 5 years of experience repairing heavy trucks and/or buses.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid G Driver's Licence (DZ or AZ licence is considered an asset).
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence is preferred. Experienced candidates working toward certification are also encouraged to apply.
