City View Bus Sales & Service is currently looking for 310T Technicians & Apprentices to fill positions in our growing company. In this role, the successful candidate will perform fire truck/coach/sweeper/transit bus, and other municipal vehicle, repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Responsibilities

- Inspect engine operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Advise supervisor and/or service writer on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.




- Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
- Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience and/or possession of a valid 310T license.

Experience:

- previous experience with motor coaches, transit buses, fire trucks & municipal vehicles preferred
- Cummins engine experience an asset

Note:Qualified technicians from Manitoba and other Canadian provinces are encouraged to apply. Equivalent provincial trade certifications and relevant experience will be considered.

License/Certification:

- 310T Licence or Apprentice (required) or other equivalent provincial technician certification.
