Mainland Services and Sales is looking for motivated, hardworking, and experienced 3rd- and 4th-year apprentice plumbers to join our team.

You will work alongside a crew of experienced plumbers and mechanics on a variety of plumbing projects throughout the Calgary area. We are looking for dependable individuals who are eager to learn, develop their skills, and grow with our company.

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Install plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters
- Install cast iron, System 15 PVC, ABS, steel, copper, and PEX piping according to project requirements and applicable codes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Assemble and install plumbing components on residential and commercial construction projects
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing plumbing systems
- Apply knowledge of carpentry and HVAC systems where they relate to plumbing installations




- Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Keep company vehicles, equipment, and tools clean and in
- good working condition

Requirements
- Currently registered as a 3rd- or 4th-year plumbing apprentice
- Previous plumbing and construction experience
- Robust mechanical aptitude and understanding of plumbing systems
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic math skills for measurements and plumbing calculations
- Willingness to learn welding techniques when required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
- Strong judgment, reliability, and common sense
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between job sites
