About Us

We are a growing public accounting firm providing personal, corporate, US and non-resident tax services. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team and support our day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Tax & Accounting:

- Prepare personal income tax returns (T1)
- Assist with corporate tax returns (T2)
- Prepare and support non-resident tax filings
- Organize and review client financial information
- Assist with bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
- Monthly reporting

Client Interaction:

- Welcome and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Communicate with clients by phone and email
- Follow up with clients for missing information
- Make outbound calls, including occasional cold calls to generate new business

Administrative & Office Duties:

- Maintain organized client files and records
- Schedule appointments and manage workflow
- Keep the office and work area clean, organized, and client-ready





Qualifications

- Diploma or certificate in Accounting or related field
- Experience preparing T1 tax returns (T2 and non-resident experience is an asset)
- Familiarity with Canadian tax software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable speaking with clients and making outbound calls
