CUMFI was founded in 1993 and incorporated by a group of Metis people living in the City of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The mandate of CUMFI is to ensure that the voice of Metis people is heard at the municipal level within Saskatoon and district." CUMFI strives to promote the heritage, cultural, economic, educational and social well-being of the Metis community in Saskatoon.

The Position

Central Urban Metis Federation Inc. is looking for one Full-time Addictions Support Worker at CUMFI's McLeod House. The incumbent will provide one on one support as well as working with various professionals and support agencies to coordinate meeting the daily living, health, financial and social needs of men struggling with addictions.

Requirements

Completion of a Certificate in Community Addictions; or an Addictions Worker Diploma

Two years of sobriety

Two years of experience in the human services field A Cover Letter, stating what position you are applying for, and how you meet the requirements of the position A Resume, outlining education, experience,



and other information to support your application

Three References at least two must be a direct Supervisor/Manager A valid (within six [6] months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

Casual Hours

12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday to Friday

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday to Friday

8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays

8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays
