The ACPS promotes secure communities by vigorously prosecuting cases involving serious and violent crime and working with individuals and organizations in the community to identify and implement improved and alternative approaches to the administration of criminal justice. In addition, the ACPS develops criminal law policy for the province and supports criminal law consultation with other levels of government. Role Responsibilities

Have you been described as a person who loves creating order from complexity, enjoys working with data, and can spot an issue in a spreadsheet before anyone else? This is the position for you!! Edmonton’s Crown Prosecution Office is seeking a highly organized Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a large, fast-paced office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on tracking details, managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring employees have the resources they need to succeed.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Tracking and maintaining employee leave, vacation, staffing information, timesheets, and other operational records to ensure accuracy and continuity of office operations.
- Monitoring and reconciling expenditures, invoices, expense claims, telecommunications costs, and budget information using advanced Excel spreadsheets and financial systems.
- Coordinating office supplies, vendor services, court garment orders, equipment maintenance, IT support requests, and building access requirements.
- Communicating and collaborating with employees, payroll,



finance, human resources, and external service providers to support effective administrative processes and resolve issues.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- High school diploma
- Three years of related administrative experience within Human Resources, financial, and/or legal related offices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook





Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education

Assets:

- Experience working in a legal environment
- Experience in the use of 1GX (SuccessFactors) or similar internal centralized systems to manage and access key resources, streamline workflows, and collaborate across teams

Please Note:

- There is one (1) permanent full-time position available.
- This position works 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday out of the John E Brownlee Building in Edmonton.
- Final candidates will be required to undergo a criminal records check (CRC).
