Wednesday, August 12, 2026 About The Position Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent, Career Development, Innovation and Teacher Education, the Adult Education Director is responsible for the planning, coordination and development of Frontier School Division's Adult and Continuing Education programming and educational partnerships to expand students academic, technical and occupational opportunities.

What You Bring

- Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- Certificate, diploma or degree in adult education or have completed at least one year of graduate studies in education or a Master's or doctoral degree in education or adult education.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Manitoba Senior Years curricula and knowledge of current concepts in education, including adult secondary education and adult literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across diverse groups.
- Familiarity with Manitoba's education systems, related legislation,



policies and programs is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with successful experience in administration, including financial management, budgeting, preparing reports and funding applications, staff assessment and development, program planning and analysis.

What You'll Do

- Implement and oversee adult education educational programs, ensuring the courses taught are appropriate to the needs of the learners and comply with ministerial credit standards
- Prepare and submit an annual operating budget, financial plans, and statistical reports to the Registrar, Manitoba Adult Learning and Literacy.
- Collect and maintain all relevant data, including course registration, attendance and progress of learners
- Supervise adult education teachers and coordinate the hiring, assignment and evaluation of adult education teachers
- Successfully manage the organization and operation of the adult education centres, including management of enrollment, collection and maintenance of accurate, confidential student records.
