Agricultural Equipment Mechanic / Farm Equipment Operator

Roslin Enterprises Inc. is a Canadian-based, family-owned company with a strong focus on sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to join our farming operation located near Woodstock, Ontario.

Roslin operates multiple farming operations totaling over 2,000 acres, growing various crops, while also operating a cattle operation. We are looking for a skilled and dependable individual who can maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of equipment required to keep our farming operations running efficiently. We have a big and bright modern shop at our main farm with room for our whole team.

Duties/Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on agricultural and farm-related equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot daily equipment issues to minimize downtime and keep farming operations running smoothly
- Complete repairs and maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, livestock-related equipment, irrigation systems, pumps, utility equipment, and other machinery required to operate and maintain multiple farms
- Assist with equipment operation during busy seasons, including planting and harvest
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, safe, and ready for use when required




- Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used
- Work independently while prioritizing and managing multiple repair needs

Qualifications

- Valid Class G Driver License
- Previous experience as a farm equipment mechanic, agricultural mechanic, or similar role
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience operating agricultural equipment
- Ability to perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability
