Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled AME M1 (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) with a valid Canadian Driver’s License to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise in manufacturing, electrical systems, and mechanical components will be essential in supporting our fleet operations.

Duties

- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical, mechanical, and avionics systems using schematics, CAD drawings, and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on aircraft components employing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments like calipers.
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of aircraft parts following detailed schematics and technical specifications.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, track parts inventory, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with industry regulations.

Experience





- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance environments with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Hands-on experience working with Beechcraft 1900, Cessna 208, Cessna 206, 172 and Piper PA34-320T is an asset.
- Knowledge and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices.
- Familiarity with avionics systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.
- Previous mechanic experience in aviation or related industries is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately while following safety procedures diligently.
- Experience working with AMS maintenance tracking is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and handle 50 pounds.
