Your Recent Role

As Assistant Property Manager , you will support the day-to-day management and operations of a commercial real estate portfolio across Calgary.

Working closely with the Property Manager, you will be responsible for helping ensure the properties operate efficiently, tenants receive exceptional service, and operational objectives are achieved. This is a highly visible role that offers exposure to all facets of commercial property management and provides a strong foundation for future career growth.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for tenants and responding to inquiries and service requests.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and building inspections.
- Assisting with vendor procurement, contract administration, and service performance management.
- Supporting lease administration, tenant move-ins, move-outs, and occupancy changes.
- Assisting with budget tracking, invoice processing, accounts receivable follow-up, and monthly reporting.
- Participating in annual operating budgets and operating cost reconciliations.
- Conducting regular site inspections and identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and tenant satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with building standards,



health and safety requirements, and company policies.
- Assisting with capital projects, tenant improvements, and special initiatives as required.

- 3+ years of experience in commercial property management, real estate operations, facilities management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of commercial building operations and tenant relations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Solid customer service orientation and skilled communication skills.
- Experience working with budgets, invoices, service contracts, and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi would be considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local property visits.
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
