Petawawa Kia is looking for an experienced Sales Floor Manager who enjoys the thrill of the chase, knows how to help a team close deals, and gets genuine satisfaction from watching the numbers climb.

We are growing, our automotive group is growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth.

This is not a position for someone who wants to quietly manage a schedule from an office. We want someone on the floor, involved in the deals, coaching the team, working opportunities, helping overcome objections, and creating some momentum when the showroom needs it.

What You Will Be Doing

You will work closely with our General Manager and sales team to keep the floor moving and the deals closing.

Your responsibilities will include

- Working directly with salespeople to help structure and close deals
- Managing leads, showroom traffic, follow up and daily sales opportunities
- Coaching salespeople on everything from the initial meet and greet through to asking for the business
- Keeping the team focused on monthly targets and making sure everyone knows where they stand
- Helping create a competitive, positive and accountable sales environment
- Monitoring closing ratios, traffic, appointments and other key sales metrics
- Assisting with training and development of both new and experienced salespeople
- Stepping in when a customer situation needs management involvement
- Working with dealership leadership to continually improve our sales process
- Making sure customers receive a professional experience even when the negotiation gets competitive

Who We Are Looking For Automotive sales experience is strongly preferred.

Management experience is great,



but we are equally interested in a proven automotive salesperson who is ready for the next step and has demonstrated the ability to lead others.

- Strong at overcoming objections
- Able to coach without micromanaging
- Organized enough to manage the floor while still staying involved in the action
- Comfortable working with numbers, targets and performance metrics
- A robust communicator with both customers and employees
- Someone who understands that sales should be fun, but performance still matters

You will also require a valid G driver's licence and OMVIC certification, or the ability to become certified. Why Petawawa Kia?
