We are seeking a skilled

AWS Backend Developer to our banking client and help build scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing serverless solutions using

AWS Lambda

,

Node.js

, and AWS messaging services, with a solid understanding of cloud security and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

Node.js and

AWS Lambda

.

- Build and support event-driven and serverless applications on AWS.

- Implement and manage integrations using

AWS SQS and other AWS services.

- Develop secure and scalable APIs and backend components.

- Configure and maintain

AWS IAM roles, policies, and permissions following security best practices.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with

Node.js backend development.

- Experience developing serverless applications using

AWS Lambda

.

- Experience with





AWS SQS and event-driven architectures.

- Solid understanding of

AWS IAM

, security principles, and access management.

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Robust debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, EventBridge, or Step Functions.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).

- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience working in Agile environments.

- Financial services or banking industry experience.
