Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week, Downtown Toronto)

About this opportunity:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced AWS IVR Developer to join a large-scale transformation program focused on modernizing customer interaction and assisted service channels. This role is responsible for the development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of DTMF IVR applications and Voice BOT solutions that deliver meaningful and personalized customer experiences.

The successful candidate will work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, technical leads, and development teams to build and support complex IVR and contact center solutions. This position is ideal for a seasoned IVR professional with strong expertise in Cisco CVP, Amazon Connect, Java development, and enterprise contact center technologies.

What You’ll Do:

- Build, develop, support, and maintain DTMF IVR applications and Conversational Voice BOT solutions.
- Perform unit testing and component testing in alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Development Managers, and Technical Delivery Leads to provide effort estimates and technical recommendations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues that impact system integrity, performance, or customer experience.
- Participate in technical planning, systems analysis, solution design, development, integration,



testing, implementation, and ongoing production support.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code following established development standards and best practices.
- Support code deployments and provide production support in highly available enterprise environments.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business, design, and technology stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements and leverage reusable components where possible.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging contact center technologies, voice automation platforms, and cloud-based solutions.
- Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement controlled remediation plans.
- Support highly complex applications and systems operating in mission-critical environments.

Must Have

- Undergraduate Degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in DTMF IVR application development within Contact Center environments.
- Hands-on experience with Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with Amazon Connect.

Strong experience with Cisco Contact Center technologies including:
- Cisco Call Studio
- Cisco CVP VXML Server
- CVP Custom Elements (Java)
- Cisco Call Studio GUI
- Apache Tomcat
- Strong Java development experience.

Experience integrating enterprise applications using:
- REST APIs
- OAuth2
- XML Web Services
- MS SQL Server

Experience with UCCE / ICM environments, including:




- Integration of CVP IVR applications with UCCE Routing Scripts
- DNIS
- Queuing to Skill Groups
- CTI Variables
- Finesse Agent Desktop
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
- Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise applications and production environments.

- Cyara
- Confluence

- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Previous experience within a large financial services or enterprise environment.
