We are hiring one part-time person for this role. Shifts will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours of work will vary, but will generally occur between 2:00-10:00pm. We are open 7 days a week. Hourly rate of $18.50-20 depending on experience.

Rodrigues Wholesale Donuts Inc. is a Cambridge-based wholesale bakery, delivering donuts and muffins to customers across southwestern Ontario. This is a fast-paced, high-capacity operation, producing several hundred dozen donuts each night from approximately 12:00-10:00pm.

We are seeking a decorator/bakery assistant to turn undecorated donuts into a finished product that will delight customers.

Job Responsibilities

- Prepares glazes, fondants, and fillings
- Prepares and bakes muffins from mix
- Produces consistently high-quality donuts and muffins using both manual and automated processes according to specific instructions and timing
- Follows production sheets to meet all orders without unnecessary overage or spoilage




- Sorts products into customer orders with 100% accuracy per the packing slips provided
- Maintains cleanliness and hygiene according to Public Health best practices and bakery procedures
- Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures proper storage and refrigeration
- Does dishes, cleaning, stocking and inventory as required

Requirements:
- Ability to consistently lift 22kg (50 pounds) safely
- Strong oral English communication skills
- Attention to detail, particularly in measurements and quantities, despite interruptions
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Reliability

Training on specific equipment and processes will be provided. Baking experience will be considered a strong asset. Food safety certification is an asset. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
