Duties

- Provide professional hair styling services tailored to each client’s preferences, including cuts, color, and styling treatments
- Greet clients warmly at the front desk, managing appointments and walk-ins efficiently
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
- Upsell retail products by recommending suitable hair care solutions to enhance client results
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and offer expert advice on styles and treatments
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, processing payments, and answering inquiries




- Support team efforts by assisting with inventory management and ensuring all salon areas are organized and inviting

Skills

- At least 2-5 years experience
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology preferred; certification is a plus
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices within a salon environment
- Ability to effectively upsell retail products through persuasive communication
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members alike
- Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
