Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for an organized and customer-oriented Body Shop Administrator to join the Winnipeg Body Shop Department. Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the Body Shop Administrator will provide professional and reliable customer service assistance to our valued customers in regard to servicing their heavy-duty trucks.
The Role:
- Open and close all Body Shop service work orders and warranty claims
- Process MPIC and all other insurance claims for payment
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters and estimators for additional work required
- Advise customers on the time limits to have warranty work completed
- Schedule appointments with customers
- Contact customers to arrange vehicle pickup once work is completed
- Work with parts personnel to ensure parts are acquired in a timely manner
- Receive all incoming phone calls to the Body Shop office in a professional and friendly manner
- Prepare payroll reports for Body Shop employees and enter into the computer system daily
- Address customer complaints and feedback with integrity; liaise feedback to appropriate manager
- Assist Body Shop Manager with daily tasks as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year in a customer service role is required
- Previous experience working in an automotive or truck dealership service/body shop department is considered an asset
- System savvy and able to work with different applications and databases; previous experience with CDK and MPI is considered an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of processing transactions (invoicing, taking payment, ensuring signatures on all required documentation)
- Superior interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic personality; able to provide an exceptional customer service experience
- Exemplary time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work workplace and produce positive results with a keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
