Business Analyst & Solution Integration Architect

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Duration: Long Term Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a combined background in Business Analysis and Solution Integration Architecture to lead complex corporate projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving business process re-engineering, system integration, and end-to-end solution design while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and frameworks.

Required Skills:

- Minimum of four (4) years of combined experience as a Senior Business Analyst and Solution-Integration Architect (within the last five years)
- IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification with 3+ years of relevant experience, or ISP (Information Systems Professional) designation with 3+ years
- Strong expertise in business process re-engineering to simplify, automate, integrate, and optimize Telecom business processes
- Proven ability to elicit and interpret business and technical information into functional and non-functional requirements
- Hands-on experience creating business process workflows, context diagrams, functional design documents, use cases, wireframe mockups, and decision tables
- Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Working knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and TM Forum Frameworks including eTOM, SID, TAM, and Open APIs




- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to develop or modify systems meeting business requirements
- Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle ambiguity, conflict resolution, and diplomacy effectively

Responsibilities:

- Perform analysis of high-level requirements to create high-level solution designs for complex corporate projects
- Map requirements and identify where high-level solutions add business value
- Conduct system analysis and consulting for complex systems and integrations; develop AS-IS and TO-BE solution models and ensure business rules are defined and applied
- Align team to corporate best practices, standards, templates, and implement business simplification where applicable
- Collaborate with business units to gather project estimates including labor, hardware, software applications, licenses, and ongoing support
- Oversee business process simplification and business process re-engineering; provide general project consulting throughout the SDLC (pre and post business case)
- Research, develop, document, and present alternatives for business options and solutions
- Create a detailed Business Analysis Plan for each project assignment and lead requirements team activities including coordination, task assignment, and mentoring junior resources




- Critically evaluate gathered information to determine true business needs and produce high-level and detailed requirements
- Perform task and workflow analysis to model current and future states of business systems and processes
- Manage requirements, documentation, and traceability between solution designs and documents throughout the project lifecycle
- Liaise between business stakeholders, technical solution providers, development, testing, and support teams
- Assist in creation of change requests with supporting analysis and alternatives
- Ensure correct interpretation of requirements with development and test teams via design inspections, test scenarios, and data validation
- Maintain current knowledge of technical advancements including new methodologies, standards, guidelines, and tools as they pertain to application development and support
- Ensure all project documentation and knowledge transfer to customer employees is completed prior to contract end

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience within the last five years in any of the following: 5G, CRM, Network Planning software, Assurance, Observability, API Gateways, Work Force Management, Workflow Management, Order Orchestration, Integration, Enterprise Application management software, ERPs, or Automation
- Cybersecurity Framework knowledge
- Prior Telecom industry experience
