What You’ll Do
1.Business Development Support
- Research and identify industry trade shows, networking events, business forums, and marketing opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events by introducing our business, promoting our services, and building relationships with prospective clients and business partners.
- Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and referral channels.
- Collect, organize, and maintain client and business contact information in the company’s CRM system, and assist with follow-up communications.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
2.Event & Marketing Support
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events, networking functions, promotional campaigns, and internal activities.
- Support event operations, including guest registration, client reception, logistics coordination, and on-site event execution.
- Assist with pre-event preparation, venue setup, post-event reporting, and administrative follow-up.
- Capture event photos and short videos, and help organize marketing materials for future promotional use.
What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is:
- Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Proactive, responsible, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A quick learner who is eager to understand our business, services, and industry.
- Interested in business development, marketing, financial services, or event management.
- Available to attend networking events, trade shows, client meetings, and other off-site business activities.
- A valid Canadian driver’s licence holder with independent driving ability is considered an asset (transportation allowance provided).
- Previous experience in business development, marketing, customer service, event coordination, or student leadership is an asset.
What We Offer This position includes a one-month probationary period (Contract), with opportunities for salary increases, long-term employment, and potential transition to a full-time role based on performance.
- Competitive hourly pay of CAD $18–22, based on experience and overall performance.

- Official Internship Certificate and Reference Letter upon successful completion.
- Transportation allowance and reimbursement of eligible expenses incurred while attending business events and trade shows.
- Hands-on experience working on real business projects alongside the company’s founder and leadership team.
